I've loved the arts for as long as I can remember. Writing was first — scribbling stories in notebooks long before Glitter the Unicorn ever had a name. The picture books, the school read-alouds, the kids' notes I still keep in a folder, all of it started with a love of words.
Then came the stage and the mic. Acting in Bye Bye Birdie at Mountain Brook High, singing with my youth group band, leading songs at Greystone Camp for Girls — performing taught me how a story lands differently when you give it your whole self.
Now I'm picking up the camera. Filmmaking with the Sidewalk Film Festival Youth Board and shooting for Spartan 2 News, our student broadcast team, has opened up a whole new way to tell stories — and I can't wait to see where it leads.
Read-alouds, literacy events, and library programs at elementary and middle schools across Alabama and New Orleans.
Funds art-therapy supplies at children's hospitals, donates books to Alabama Family Courts, and ships free Kindness Kits across the U.S. so kids everywhere can start the ripple.

Behind the Camera
The summer before Junior year (2025), I attended Wake Forest's Summer Immersion Program in their Filmmaking Institute. This was my first real taste of production from the inside, and the moment I knew this was what I wanted to study.
Since then, I've kept building. I'm a member of the Sidewalk Film Youth Board, where I acted and contributed to production in the short film named Chad selected for the 2026 Sidewalk Film Festival Lineup. I also help with filming for Spartan 2 News, the Mountain Brook High School student broadcast program. I am currently completing the Modern Screenwriting program through NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
